As part of the Advanced Mechanics Design module at the University of Staffordshire, I built this tank project which represented realistic vehicle physics using different calculations.
As part of the Advanced Mechanics Design module at the University of Staffordshire, I was tasked in building a physics-based controllable tank to manoeuvre around a map in different ways.
This module taught me the basics of vehicle simulation, giving me the knowledge to add friction and apply forces based on it. I also created a camera rig system that allowed for the player to look around with the tank being able to face the turret in the direction given.
